I used to forget or leave items behind all of the time. A great trick is to always take a quick look at your taxi seat, bus bench or computer desk as you are leaving. The motion is kind of awkward at first but it sure beats running down a bus as it leaves with your dropped wallet.

remember when you left that jacket you bought at HM at TFA offices while we were interviewing and someone had to grab it for you and gave it to you (to return to HM because it wasn’t that cool) when we came back for induction? I’m sorry, but it’s hereditary. It’s like a replay of my younger years. It does get better, I haven’t lost my keys or wallet for some time. (2 years) My red wallet really has helped.

Here’s the way I see it: If it weren’t for this flaw, you would be perfect. Because nobody can be perfect, you will always have this flaw. Alternatively, you can fix this one, but you willl have to accept a flaw of some other kind. I can offer lots of suggestions from my own list.
